Two big celebrations in 2023
This year we’re commemorating 125 years of Petone FC and 50 years of women's football at the club, and of course we’re going to celebrate.
Come join us! Book out King's birthday weekend, 2-5 June 2023, and get along to Memorial Park to enjoy great company and great football as we reconnect and reminisce about all things Petone FC.
We’ve got an awesome weekend lined up, kicking off with a meet and greet at the Club on Friday night with games playing on number 1.
Saturday will be a full line up of home games with a packed balcony and plenty of reasons to get down and support our teams.
We’ll pay tribute to eight Petone legends on Sunday as we unveil their plaques along Jackson Street’s Petone Walk of Champions, followed by morning tea at the Club.
Later that night to culminate the weekend we’ll have a celebration dinner at The Lower Hutt Events Centre, with our MC Jason Pine taking us through the night where we'll get to see and hear from people who've helped build the fabric of our club, and have a bloody good time while we're at it.

Celebration Dinner
Join us for our celebration dinner at the Lower Hutt Events Centre. We’ll spend the night reminiscing and enjoying great company. Jason Pine is our MC for the evening and you'll get to hear from Club personalities across the eras. A night not to be missed.
Your ticket includes dinner. A cash bar will be open on the night.

Come along to the corner of Kensington Ave and Jackson St at 10am where we'll be unveiling plaques immortalising their prowess on the football field. Afterwards we'll head back to the clubrooms for the citations and morning tea.

Retro shirts are making a comeback - get yourself one
To celebrate 125 years of Petone FC and 50 years of women’s football at the club, we’re releasing a retro shirt to help you look the part.
You can personalise your shirt with a name and number on the back, or leave it plain with the Club logo. Teams can order them for their playing strip and be the best dressed team on the park. Indicative cost is $95 per shirt, including all personalisation.
