MIXED HOLIDAY PROGRAMME

Our World Cup themed school holiday programme gets the kids off the couch and onto the football field!

​

They’ll take part in fun football skill building activities, competitions and games, plus a replica World Cup tournament. They’ll have the chance to play as their favourite player and in their favourite team, score goals and win some great prizes.​

​

The programme is open to children aged 7 to 13 of all skill levels. Registration is open to everyone—whether you're part of our club, another club, or you don't regularly play football. Players will be grouped based on age and ability.

about the programme

Day 1: Football Carnival

 

Day 1 is a fun and energetic football carnival. Players rotate through a range of skill games, challenges and mini activities, earning rewards while building confidence and enjoyment.

 

Day 2: Football Mini Games & Challenges

​

Day 2 focuses on teamwork, problem-solving and game-based learning.
Players take part in fun football mini games, team challenges and a large group game that introduces progression and challenges.

​

Day 3: World Cup

 

Day 3 brings the excitement with a World Cup-style football experience.
Players are placed into small teams, represent a country and play a series of matches and challenges. There will be some great spot prizes up for grabs, plus prizes for the winning team.​

  • $60 per day (registering for one, two or three days).

  • $165 if you register for all three days

  • $7.50 discount per child, per day when you register two or more children for the programme.

  • ​9am – 3pm.

Where?

 

  • Memorial Park

  • ​Pick up and drop off from the Petone FC clubrooms at Memorial Park.​

  • Please sign in with our coaching team at the clubrooms at the start of the day.

​

  • The programme will run whatever the weather.  If it is wet we will use indoor facilities.

​

  • Wear whatever is comfortable - we suggest shorts and a sports shirt, a warm top and (in case) a rain jacket. If it's sunny, please also bring a hat and sunscreen. Football boots and shin pads are preferable, if you have them, but are not required.

​

  • Please bring all the food you require for the day, and a drink bottle.
